In FIFA 22 the next event is on the way: Winter Wildcards. After the previous Versus Event ended up being rather dull (the idea was unfortunately poorly implemented by EA), things now seem to be better, because the Wildcards look pretty good.

What's Winter Wildcards Promo in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team?
Winter Wildcards is the Christmas event in FIFA 22. This means that this year fans will continue to wait without success for a FUTmas comeback. But the wildcards are good, so we don't have to think about other promos from this year and cry right now.
