In FIFA 23, there will be significantly more national teams than in previous parts. Thanks to the World Cup in Qatar, we finally get to see an original Brazil squad again and the host country even celebrates its world premiere in FIFA.
Playing FIFA is not only fun on club level. There are also some exciting matchups among national teams. Unfortunately, the content for this has been rather boring in recent years. Friendlies and the standard online mode aren't exciting in the long run. But for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, we got a World Cup mode – and new national teams in FIFA 23.
We will also see some special cards in Ultimate Team. EA has already introduced us to the FUT World Cup Heroes. To give you an overview of which national teams there will actually be in FIFA 23, we have listed all current and new nations here. One of the best news: Brazil is finally be back with all their players!
FIFA 23: New National Teams For The World Cup
Since FIFA 18, we've seen the Seleção in really unpleasant form in FIFA. In FIFA 19 and 20, Brazil only had generic players in the squad apart from Neymar. In FIFA 21 and 22, not even the superstar from Paris Saint-Germain was there anymore. For the World Cup in Qatar, the record world champions is back in action with all their stars.
And ther are some new national teams in FIFA 23, too. Host Qatar is represented in an EA Sports football game for the first time. Croatia was already back since the launch of FIFA 23. Meanwhile, Russia is cancelled and excluded because of their war in Ukraine, which is the right thing to do by EA.
