First, we explain what wonderkids are, like when is a young player a talented up-and-comer – and when is he a high-flyer worth being a part of our list. Included players must meet our following criteria:

• Players must not be older than 18 years at the beginning of Career Mode
• The OVR must improve by at least 23 points (unless he reaches 86+)

As you can see, the criteria almost guarantees that the wonderkids always start as hidden gems with ratings below 60 OVR. But if you buy them early on, train them and trust them, you will always be rewarded in Career Mode.
