8. MAURO ICARDI | PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN | 85 OVR: PSG completed the permanent transfer of Icardi this summer after a season on loan. It's for good reason as the Italian lead the team in Champions League goals on their way to the final. With such striking power, the French team will hope this year will finally be their year in Europe.
7. MEMPHIS DEPAY | OLYMPIQUE LYON | 85 OVR: No reason to hide the spoiler - Depay is the only non-PSG player on this list. He has revived his career since moving to France and is deservedly counted towards the best players in Ligue 1 by FIFA 21.
6. MARQUINHOS | PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN | 85 OVR: The streak of PSG members begins with center back Marquinhos. Like his teammates to follow, he's the best in Ligue 1 at his position. A feat that was made easier by his former partner Thiago Silva's move to Chelsea.
5. MARCO VERATTI | PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN| 86 OVR: Marco Veratti is arguably the best transfer in PSG's oil money era. The Italian was picked out as a 19-year-old from lowly Pescara and has blossomed into a world class midfielder in the French capital since that move 8 years ago.

KEYLOR NAVAS | PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN | 87 OVR: Navas was treated so poorly by Real Madrid that it's satisfying on a spiritual level to see him enjoy more success than Los Blancos after his departure. Absolutely one of the best goalkeepers in the world, as well as in FIFA 21, trails only his team's star attacking trio in the Ligue 1 ratings.
3. ÁNGEL DI MARÍA | PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN | 87 OVR: Kicking us off in the top 3 is right-winger Ángel di María. Yet another Real Madrid reject that found a home in Paris. The Argentine international is often left in the shadow of his frontline teammates, but as EA Sports have also recognized, he's not to be forgotten.
2. KYLIAN MBAPPÉ | PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN | 90 OVR: The cover star of FIFA 21 must be a pretty good player and, well, Mbappé matches that description. We were gently surprised by his, in our opinion, low rating in the game. 21-years-old and already the star of a World Cup-winning national team and a Champions League final-playing club team? Enough to be the highest-rated player in Ligue 1 if you ask us.
1. NEYMAR | PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN | 91 OVR: If you ask EA Sports, though, it's enough to be Neymar. The Brazilian flirted with a return to Barcelona last summer but now that the situation there is much different and Messi is probably leaving, Neymar is bound to concentrate on his career in France. Maybe that way he'll convince us that he deserves the nod over Mbappé.
The French Ligue 1 has been ruled by Paris Saint-Germain for almost a decade. With them finally achieving some success internationally, it was even more of a marginality that they would occupy the top FIFA 21 Ligue 1 players list.
