Introduced in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3, the Charge Shotgun is a melee weapon that has to be, well, charged in order to deal the most damage to an enemy player. Charging the weapon takes about 1 second and allows it to deal massive damage to enemy players. Like all shotguns, it's pretty powerful at close range. But compared to other shotguns, it's not bad even at medium range.

First, let's look at the stats for the epic version of the charge shotgun. As said before, this weapon is pretty good, but see for yourself:
- Damage: 95
- Structure damage: 57
- Rate of Fire: 0.85
- Reload time: 4.09
- Magazine size: 5

How to get the Charge Shotgun in Fortnite
Heads up, you cannot get the Charge Shotgun through an NPC on the island. With the latest Fortnite patch, a number of new reality augments have been added, including the All or Nothing perk, which equips you with the Charge Shotgun.
So either you're lucky and that perk appears randomly, or you keep rerolling until it appears. But keep in mind that only the first roll is free and you have to pay gold bars for each additional roll.
