Fortnite set the stage for some pretty insane in game live concerts. Now, Epic Games have confirmed that they are working on a number of similar major Fortnite events and concerts. Here's all we know so far!
I'm sure we all remember the Marshmello, Travis Scott and Ariana Grande concerts, Fortnite events so big they broke streaming records across the board.
Basically everyone was there, Fortnite player or not! It's been two years ever since Ari's Rift Tour already, and while Epic has been tiding us over with smaller Creative Mode concerts like Kid LAROI, Fortnite fans are eagerly awaiting the next major in-game event. And it looks like they won't have to wait for much longer!
New major Fortnite concerts are in the works
At Unreal Fest 2023, Greyson Edge, who works as a cinematic design director at Epic Games, revealed that several incredible Fortnite events and live concerts similar to Ariana Grande's Rift Tour and Travis Scott's Astronomical Events are being worked on.
Epic has confirmed that they're working on multiple live events at the moment (I assume Durian and the Harmonix Festival)(thanks @ThatPumpkinHook for clipping this for me)#Fortnite pic.twitter.com/1TTMVq0yLj

We still don't know for sure who will be hosting the next major concert. However, rumors are pointing towards it being either Lady Gaga or Ed Sheeran.
Either way, the next smaller-scale Fortnite concert will be hosted by Ed Sheeran, and we honestly can't wait for it! That said, we'll of course keep you in the loop on any news on the next major live Fortnite event.
