With Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 going strong, Epic Games isn't one to rest on their laurels, which is why they're preparing changes to the map according to leaks.
HYPEX, one of the most reliable Fortnite insiders, stated via social media that a new unreleased Point of Interest (POI) will show up in the coming weeks, specifically on July 5. Initially thought to be named The Tower, HYPEX added that it'll most likely don the name of Temple Bloom.
The new POI will be located in the temple ruins that sit between Rocky Reels and The Joneses. Some users on Twitter pointed out that, despite being a nameless location, it counted towards a daily quest that required you to visit known locales within the island, a possible oversight from the developers. You can see the exact spot where the Temple Bloom will show up down below.
It's all mere speculation, but considering the theme of this new POI and the fact that a new Indiana Jones skin is set to become available on July 7 as part of the Chapter 3 Season 3 battle pass, all signs point to Temple Bloom playing a big part in the reveal of the brand-new outfit.
If you're a big Indy fan, even the name of the POI can be perceived as a small nod to the intrepid archeologist's second outing, and arguably his best one: Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Of course, Bloom Temple is a much more soothing name location, so hopefully we won't have to dodge any big boulders trying to take away our Victory Royales!
The name also suggests that the location could be where a new Reality Tree grows. So far, the only one in the game is at Reality Falls, west of where Bloom Temple is set to appear. It would definitely make the area more interesting, as it's quite barren at the moment.
All we can do is hope the leaks become a reality (no pun intended) and we get a much-needed update to that side of the map. It'll make landing on Reality Falls and the Rave Cave much, much easier.
