Now that Fall Guys has gone free-to-play across multiple platforms, Epic Games wants players to reap some sweet rewards they can show off in Fortnite.
The fluffy and delicious-looking Major Mancake skin, alongside a few other cosmetics that include a pickaxe, emoticon, spray, and back bling are up for grabs in Fortnite. Getting them, however, will require you to jump into another battle royale: Fall Guys.
Ever since Mediatonic was acquired by Epic Games, players were anticipating some kind of crossover event to celebrate the occasion. While this isn't as big as many had hoped, it's a neat way to introduce Fortnite players who've yet to try out Fall Guys, especially now that's more accessible than ever.
Featuring cross-platform play, a free-to-play with premium cosmetics monetization system, and being widely available on different systems like PC (via Epic Games launcher), Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and of course, PlayStation, Fall Guys will feel very similar in all but gameplay to Fortnite veterans.
How to earn the Major Mancake Fortnite skin
As we've mentioned, the Major Mancake skin is available to earn via Fall Guys. You don't have to do anything crazy like getting a set number of crowns (wins). Simply completing the Crown Clash challenges will suffice.
Depending on the number of rounds you play, a new cosmetic will be unlocked in Fortnite, the Mancake outfit is the final reward after you play 100 rounds:
- Play 10 Rounds of Any Show - Stacked! Spray.
- Play 20 Rounds of Any Show - Stacked with Love emoticon.
- Play 40 Rounds of Any Show - Sweet Clementine harvesting tool.
- Play 70 Rounds of Any Show - Waffler back bling.
- Play 100 Rounds of Any Show - Major Mancake outfit.
It doesn't matter if you're playing Solos Shows or Squads, everything will count towards your progress for the Crown Clash challenges. One thing worth mentioning is that you need to make sure you're playing on the same Epic Games account. If you're on PC you're most likely good to go, but if you're using different consoles just make sure you have all your accounts linked just to confirm.
Simply access your account on the Epic Games website and scroll down to the connections tab. Link your platform account with Epic Games and you should be good to go. If you're on multiple platforms the process remains the same, just add all the accounts in which you play these titles.
