New Fortnite leaks have hinted that the B.R.U.T.E mechs could be making a comeback to the island - with some new features.
We have bad news for you. The B.R.U.T.E mechs could be returning to the island soon... Longtime Fortnite players will probably already be familiar with the giant robots that debuted in the game during Season X. These burly, two-legged mechs were a fairly controversial addition to the Fortnite playground, as they were way too OP to begin with and completely unbalanced the lobbies.
The robots have returned to Fortnite a few times over the years and have received numerous adjustments to ensure they remain reasonably balanced. Nevertheless, the mechs are still one of the less popular features in the game. Therefore, it will probably not be very nice to read for most that the beasts could potentially return during Fortnite Chapter 3.
The B.R.U.T.E Mechs Return To Fortnite In Chapter 3
It's been a while since we've seen the mechs on the island. Most recently, they were up to mischief in Chapter 2, Season 8. Now there is new evidence that the mechs may return once more, albeit in a slightly different way.
The leaks come from Fortnite leaker InTheShadeYT. He shared the following with his followers via Twitter:

The leaks don't specify when this new mech might make its way into the game, but there are details regarding its gameplay - players will be able to fire in two different ways, sprint, and emote. Except for sprinting, all the other features were present in previous iterations of the mech. However, sprinting could actually take B.R.U.T.Es to a whole new level. The leaker also fantasized that the new mech could be part of a Transformers crossover, although there doesn't appear to be any evidence of this.
At the time of writing, Epic Games has yet to confirm the new mechs. As always, we'll update you as soon as we learn anything new about the B.R.U.T.E mechs.
