Fortnite fans will now be able to download a brand-new patch. As the first patch from Chapter 3, Update 19.01 is coming to: PC, consoles, and mobile devices. Bringing the Christmas cheer to Fortnite!
Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1 has brought heaps of new content to the game. Now it's not only possible to slide, but also to swing from house to house like Spider-Man. But, Fortnite wouldn't be Fortnite without the other cool new features and modes joining in the middle of these changes. Finally, to top things off, it is of course Christmastime, and the long-awaited Winterfest is on its way. Here are all the early patch notes for Fortnite Update 19.01.
Fortnite Patch 19.01 Downtime
Fortnite Update 19.01 launched today alongside Fortnite's server downtime on November 14.The downtime started at 09:00 in the morning, and has ended by now, so make sure you jump in and see what's new in Battle Royale.

With every patch, new things come to the Fortnite island. But what can we expect from Fortnite Patch 19.01?
New weapons and items
The update will probably bring back the double hand cannon. As, there hasn't been a weapon like this in Fortnite since Deadpool's mythical hand cannons were in the game.This time it won't be a mythical weapon, but it will be the first time, in a while, that we will see this version of the hand cannon in the game again.
In addition, the portable shield barrel is supposed to make an appearance in the game. Tent upgrades
As part of Fortnite Chapter 3, tents were introduced into the game, that you can use to store loot and heal yourself. These tents are getting a small upgrade with patch 19.01. In exchange for a few gold bars, you will be able to carry a picnic table (new item), a campfire, or an upgrade station.
Winterfest
You heard it, guys, this year's Winterfest is soon starting in Fortnite! If you've been playing for a while, you know what's coming:
- Winter Challenges
- Gifts with free cosmetics
- Snowball launcher
- Winter NPCs
- Snowballs
And much more! According to Fortnite leaker Hypex, the winter celebrations are set to begin on December 16. Of course, we'll update you with all the wintry details as soon as the patch is live.
