It's that time again, the next PlayStation Fortnite Cup has now been announced (exclusively for PlayStation players, obviously). Get practicing because the best of the best can win a share of the $114,750 prize pool! Here are all the details!
When Is The Fortnite PlayStation Cup?
The Fortnite PlayStation Cup takes place this weekend on Friday, March 11 at 10:00 PT and Saturday, March 12 at 03:00 PT.
How Can I Join The Fortnite PlayStation Cup?
Only players on PS4 or PS5 consoles can participate in the Fortnite PlayStation Cup. The tournament will be held in duo format over two rounds. To start the cup, simply select the PlayStation Cup in Fortnite and join the first round.Round 1 is an open competition where you have 3 hours to play a maximum of 10 games and earn as many points as possible. Only the top 100 players in each region advance to Round 2.Round 2 consists of a total of 6 matches. The best Round 2 players in each region will receive a prize.
What Is The Point Distribution?
Scoring is arranged to provide an even balance of points for achieving eliminations and placements in Round 1. Therefore, in round 1, there is one point for each elimination. Since there is only a single lobby of players in round 2, eliminations are awarded 3 points instead of 1 point. However, most points are awarded for placement.
