10. Tender Defender

Admittedly, this skin is still very iconic somehow and could at least cause laughter in your team. But as a Chicken McNuggets defender, I must say that this chicken is definitely not worth 1,500 V-Bucks to me. | © Epic Games

9. Mecha Team Leader

Way too big. He was introduced as part of the story in Fortnite Season 10. The skin does have a story behind it, but when I play with it, it feels like half the screen is blocked. Sorry, robot teddy. | © Epic Games

8. Leviathan

Let's take a fishbowl, put a piranha in it, and put it on a diving suit. The result is a skin that appears to break the laws of physics. How does it move? Why, Epic...? | © Epic Games

7. The Brat

A hot dog with sunglasses and a cap. I don't really have to say much more about that, do I...? | © Epic Games

6. Moisty Merman

A rumored legend from the old Moisty Mire, this skin exudes an unsettling aura. Its colors are bizarre and the outfit is bulky, with a questionable design. Honestly, I don't recall ever encountering a player who used this skin. | © Epic Games

5. Grimbles

This. Dwarf. Is. Creepy. I know that dwarves are all over Fortnite and that they have secret tasks and all that. But was it really necessary to release a huge version of them for the item shop? | © Epic Games

4. Fly Trap

This is a prime example of an underdeveloped skin. It sells for the proud sum of 2000 V-Bucks in the item shop and doesn't even have a back bling or any other selectable style. And is his punk hairstyle really supposed to be a fly trap? | © Epic Games

3. Teef

That's just a chewing gum bubble that burst in someone's face. The rest of the outfit simply reminds me of a prison break. | © Epic Games

Sorry to all Stranger Things (and D&D) fans, but I have never been very keen on that show. I could still make friends with the other characters, but I really don't have to walk around the Fortnite map wearing the Demogorgon of all (stranger) things! | © Epic Games

I understand that this is a Halloween skin and is supposed to scare you in a certain way, but the longer I look at it, the more ridiculous I find it. I mean, the thing doesn't even have eyes to see with! | © Epic Games

I've never been one of those players who constantly ditch their V-Bucks for skins and cosmetics in Fortnite. I rather saved up and waited until a skin came into the item shop that really knocked my socks off.

Okay, in retrospect, I sometimes regretted not having bought something, but with a selection of over 800 skins, it is not always easy to make a decision in Fortnite. Sometimes, however, I am 100% sure, at least which skins not to buy. And never will buy.

Disclaimer, so no heated discussions will arise: This is just my opinion. Not everyone will agree with me, but I'm going to show you 10 Fortnite skins that I wouldn't even dream of buying.
