Looking for a long range Fortnite weapon? Epic Games has something new in store for you: the Tactical DMR.
Originally, the DMR was added in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3. This is a semiautomatic rapid-fire rifle with a scope that allows you to fight at a distance.
But in the meantime, a few new weapon variants were added. For example, there is also the Cobra DMR and the Infrared DMR, and now, brand new, the Tactical DMR has been added to the loot pool.
We have the exact stats of the weapon for you and show you how to get them!
Fortnite Tactical DMR: Stats
The tactical DMR, like its predecessors, is a semi-automatic, moderately slow-firing sniper rifle, with the distinction of having an adjustable scope. It has a medium-sized magazine and can inflict high damage over a long range.
The scope can be changed between a normal DMR scope and a scope similar to that of a sniper rifle.
The tactical DMR in Fortnite is available from common to legendary, with each rarity level dealing additional damage. However, the rate of fire and magazine size are the same at each level. These are the stats for the Tactical DMR:
Rarity | DPS | Damage (body) | Magazine size | Firerate | Reload time |
Common | 117 | 41 | 14 | 2.85 | 2.75s |
Uncommon | 123 | 43 | 14 | 2.85 | 2.62s |
Rare | 128 | 45 | 14 | 2.85 | 2.5s |
Epic | 134 | 47 | 14 | 2.85 | 2.375s |
Legendary | 143 | 50 | 14 | 2.85 | 2.25s |
How To Get The Tactical DMR
Fortunately, the Tactical DMR is available everywhere on the island. It can be found on the ground, in chests and vaults.
So you shouldn't have any problems getting the Tactical DMR in Fortnite, but of course the rarer ones are harder to find, so it pays to know all the locations of the upgrade benches in Chapter 4.
