Among Us Free on the Epic Games Store

Among Us was the unexpected multiplayer hit of 2020 and there was just one negative thing about it - the price. Well, not anymore as Among Us is now free on the Epic Games Store. As part of a currently ongoing Mega Sale (May 20 - June 17) on the Epic Games Store, you'll find many popular titles with a hefty discount. For a total of 4 weeks, players will be able to grab a free game each week. It all started with NBA 2K21 and the next free game is InnerSloth's hit - Among Us.

Among Us exploded in popularity last year. The seemingly forgotten game was discovered by some famous Twitch streamers and the hype train began. The game's player base jumped from 600 average players in June 2020 to 176,000 and the highest peak was a month earlier at 438,524. The dev team behind the title was just as shocked and they immediately started working on better servers and updates that'll improve the experience for the huge influx of players.

Most recently the game received a brand-new map with Airship and we already have a full guide on it.
