Among Us will stop supporting a number of devices soon. Find out below if your own device is going to be affected.
Among Us might not be as popular as it once was, but it still has a dedicated community of players. Sadly, however, the community will be shrinking soon as the game will no longer be supported on as many devices. And this news comes directly from the developer, so you can take it as 100% true.
Among Us To Stop Supporting A Number Of Devices
On May 15, 2023, InnerSloth will stop supporting Among Us on older iOS and Android devices. These are the new minimum requirements your phone will need to reach to play Among Us after May 15:
Among Us Minimum System Requirements (iOS)
From May 15, you will need to meet the following spec to play Among Us on an iOS device (iPhone / iPad):
- iPhone: Run on iOS 13.0 or later (any iPhone newer than the iPhone SE / 6s from 2015 or later).
- iPad: iPad Pro 9.7 running on iPadOS 13.0 or later (basically any iPad from 2016 or later).
These aren't exactly demanding requirements in 2023, but a few users will still be affected.
Among Us Minimum System Requirements (Android)
To play Among Us on an Android, you will need to reach these specs from May 15:
- OS: Android 6.0 or above.
- Minimum RAM: 2.1 GB RAM (Samsung S5 from 2015 or later).
So basically, if you have a phone better or equal to an iPhone 6 or Samsung S5, you're fine. But if not, then you'll need to upgrade your device to keep enjoying Among Us on mobile.
If you're upgrading your device or console soon, why not go for a Switch , so you can play the 2023 Game of the Year:
