Armored Core 6: All Part Container Locations

In Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, part containers are like special items you can collect. To get all the different parts for your mech and earn a special award, you need to find all the combat part containers. These containers look like chests and start showing up in the game from Chapter 2 onwards (there are none in Chapter 1). When you find these containers, you get new parts that you can use to change how your mech looks and works in the Assembly Menu.

These containers are a bit tricky to collect because the game doesn't keep track of how many you've found. Even the Mission Select screen won't tell you how many are left. The only way to know which containers you've found is to compare the parts you have with a complete list of parts.

To find these containers, you should use the scanning ability with the “down” button. It's a good idea to equip a head part with high “Scan Distance” and “Scan Effect Duration” stats. You can find these stats in the Assembly or Shop menu, under the detailed “Head” section. Just look for the “Part Specs” on the left side of the screen.

All Part Containers In Chapter 2

Since, as already mentioned, there are no Part Containers in Chapter 1, we will start with Chapter 2.

In Mission 12: Infiltrate Grid 086, there are three part containers you can find:

• HC WRECKER Container: Right after entering the building and dropping down a hole in the ground, turn around and search the back of the room.
• CC-3000 WRECKER Container: In the room with the big metal furnace, jump through the gap beside it to the next room. Look on the ground where there are many MTs (enemy machines).
• 2C-3000 WRECKER Container: When you reach the objective to “Annihilate enemy MT squad,” before dropping down to the platform with the targets, go 90° to a sloping section of the platform. There, you'll find a single enemy guarding this part container.
• AC-3000 WRECKER Container: In the furnace room, there are big pipes which are releasing hot molten. One of the pipes doesn't. Go through it to find a secret area, where you can get this container.

The four Containers in Mission 12 are the only Part Containers in this chapter, so make sure to get them all.

All Part Containers In Chapter 3

Chapter 3 offers some more part containers than chapter 2, here are they

Mission 18: Tunnel Sabotage - Part Container “IA-C01W1: NEBULA”

• Upon entering tunnels, PCA force returns early
• Don't proceed down, go left and up (90° direction)
• Enter a room with enemies, laser-shooting LC higher up
• Past the enemy, spot part container on ledge in dead-end area

Mission 19: Survey the Uninhabited Floating City - Part Container “IA-CO1G: AORTA”

• Disable first fog control device, follow red beacons
• Attacked by fast-flying enemy
• On rooftop of enemy's building, discover container
• Container location is 500 m from second fog control device

Mission 24: Eliminate “Honest” Brute - Part Containers

• WB-0010 DOUBLE TROUBLE Container: Drop to the lower platform on the first platform with red lasers (230° direction)
• BC-0600 12345 Container: Reach the far opposite end of the large open platform with the train turntable (350° direction)
• WB-0000 BAD COOK Container: After crossing a green energy barrier, follow main objectives through outdoor platforming and drop inside a building. Find the container in a room with red lasers, tucked in the right corner

All Part Containers In Chapter 4

Mission 28: Underground Exploration – Depth 1 - Part Containers

• IA-C01L: EPHEMERA: After the partition closes, you will be led to a room via the quest marker. The container is in that room.

Mission 29: Underground Exploration – Depth 2 - Part Containers

• IA-C01B: GILLS: After defeating G5 Iguazu, continue until you see a mech shooting blue lasers. Follow it until it goes behind a door. You will find the container in the room to the right
• IA-C01A: EPHEMERA: Exit the tunnel towards the end of the mission and go down until you see a ventilation shaft. Use the jump pad to reach the container

Mission 33: Unknown Territory Survey - Part Containers

• IA-C01H: EPHEMERA: Just follow the objective markers, at some point in the tunnels you'll see the container

Mission 34: Reach the Coral Convergence - Part Containers

• IA-CO1W2: MOONLIGHT: Follow the objective markers until you come across a huge bridge, which is destroyed on both ends. The container is right under the further end of the bridge

All Part Containers in New Game Plus

So far, we have only found two part containers in NG+2, and none in NG+1.

Mission 36-C: Regain Control of the Xylem - Part Containers

• IB-C03W3: NGI006: At the start of the mission, turn left and look down. Drop to the lower area and there you'll find the chest
• IB-C03W4: NGI 028: After getting the mission to head to the control room, move away from the marker and make your way around the big obstacle, where you should find the last part container. Scanning is recommended to find it more easily
