Merry Christmas indeed, all us Assassin’s Creed fans are in for a treat, because Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be free for the next couple of days.
If you disagree with me that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is the best Assassin’s Creed game then… fair enough. I know some people didn’t like the new style, but I, who is a fan of exploring and quest hunting, loved it. These are the Assassin’s Creed kind of games that I’m into, but I get it if you disagree.
However, I’m sure you won’t look a gift horse in the mouth and that’s what you’d do if you didn’t at least give Assassin’s Creed Odyssey a chance… which you should. Because it’s free (Apple TV+ is free as well, by the way. Just thought I'd mention that, because free is good).
How To Get Assassin’s Creed Odyssey For Free
It’s actually super easy. Simply head on over to the Free Weekend Ubisoft website and select the platform on which you want to play Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on. Once you’ve selected it, you will either need to log in or create a new account. After that, you can download Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and start playing. Simple as that.
Keep in mind, though, that this isn’t a “get the game for free forever” game. It’s a trial for you to test whether you really hate the game as much as you think, or maybe don’t.
You can play Assassin’s Creed Odyssey for free from December 16, 9AM to December 20, 7PM. After that, you won’t be able to play Odyssey anymore unless you buy it. If you do, though, your progression will be carried over, so you won’t have to start from scratch.
If you haven’t played Odyssey yet, I can highly recommend it. If not for the “Assassin’s Creed feeling”, then for a great game that’s set in Ancient Greece. And let me tell you, Ancient Greece is one fascinating place. If you’re into mythology just the slightest bit, then you will love this game. In my opinion, it's way better than Valhalla.
