Ubisoft is planning its next big Assassin’s Creed Valhalla update/DLC and in it, a fan favorite Assassin from the past will make an appearance: Kassandra.
If you think this isn’t true because it doesn’t make sense, then you’ve simply not paid attention when playing Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, or simply didn’t play it at all. At the end of it, Kassandra obtains the Staff of Hermes Trismegistus which allows her to survive until she met Layla in modern times.
Now, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla obviously plays after Odyssey, but way before Layla was born, so Kassandra would have been alive at that time, hence, why her appearance in AC: Valhalla would actually make sense.
But I get it, I get it. You want proof of why this is suddenly a thing. Ubisoft hasn’t announced anything of that sort, so why are we suddenly writing about this? Because of the video below:
Yes, the video is in French, so in case you were like me and did not pay attention in French class back in high school, let me summarize it all very quickly.
Will Kassandra Be In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla?
According to the reliable Assassin’s Creed leaker J0nathan, a new and upcoming quest that will soon come to AC: Valhalla has been data mined and that quest includes Kassandra. Like I said before, this has not been confirmed by Ubisoft, but it is in the game data already, so it sounds to us like a reliable leak. Always taking it with that tiny bit of salt until an official announcement, though.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s next big addition is The Siege of Paris DLC that arrives next week. As you can tell by that and by even more AC: Valhalla expansions coming in 2022, it makes more than enough sense for Ubisoft to add the fan favorite Kassandra into the game. It looks like there are no plans to stop AC: Valhalla from growing its user base any time soon and with the return of one of the most favored Assassin’s so far, they are going in the right direction.
Is Kassandra one of your favorite Assassins's? If so, does this excite you? Or are you maybe more of an Alexios kind of guy, and you're not really hyped about Kassandra being in AC: Valhalla? Let us know on Facebook or Twitter.
