An Avatar game, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, is in the works at Ubisoft! Yes, you read that right, and we'll repeat: An actual game version of James Cameron's Avatar is in development at Ubisoft! This was announced at the Ubisoft E3 Press Conference, and we've got all the details.
An Avatar game, y'all. This was easily the biggest announcement in Ubisoft's E3 presentation, though it was basically just a trailer shown that legitimately looked like it had actual gameplay footage mixed in. Before we jump into the details, you should really do yourself a favor and get your goosebumps on with this trailer:
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Release Date & What We Know
Honestly, we don't know much about Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. It's essentially the trailer and that's it. As you've probably seen in the trailer, the release date for Avatar Frontiers of Pandora is 2022. We can thus expect it to drop sometime in late 2022, as we essentially only got a teaser and not much more.

Still, we're hyped enough, because: It's an Avatar game! Don't kid yourself, you've been waiting for this ever since you saw the movie (and if you haven't seen the movie, shame on you). Now the time is here, and the time is right, and we can't wait to visit Pandora. The only question is: Will we play as the Na'vi and the humans are evil, or might we be able to join the human side and take on the Na'vi? Will it maybe be an MMO? An open world game? It's all guesswork at this point, so we'll leave that up to you. I gotta go watch the movie again...
