Back 4 Blood is in its beta and is collecting all the hype right now. Now, a gamer has heard zombies in the shooter use the N-word while coming at him. What's that all about?

Alright how do we kick this off? History of the N-word? Nah, you know that already. But did you know that Wall Street is called that because it was once a walled street, where people would stand atop said walls and shout down which N-word slaves they want to buy for which price? There you go, public history service, done. I collected my Social Justice points, now allow me to go ham throughout the rest of this article:

2021 being 2021 and political correctness being what it is, the devs naturally had a "woke" response to this:

Our team has been made aware of offensive language that can be heard when playing the game. This was not recorded or ever intended to be part of our gameplay,” says the statement.

Boooooring. Why can't the zombie just have an ethnic background (aka: black... or latino, because they have that unofficial license) or it used to be a racist, or a slaver, or a Trump supporter – which, sorry, is both of the former – or just a zombie that doesn't give a flying F what it's calling you, since it wants to eat your brains out anyway.

When I heard that zombies in Back 4 Blood were calling players the N-word, I got excited. Shoot, throw a couple more slurs and insults in there, for what it's worth. The game is R-rated, you're committing mass zombie genocide, killing everything that's in sight, bathing in blood, glorifying violence, but when a zombie uses a slur...

...oh, gosh...

Somebody please call Team Social Justice. #staywoke
