I guess this really is the end for Overwatch 2. What do we know about this new Survival Game from Blizzard though?
It was just a few days ago that we were talking about the huge Microsoft acquisition right? Right. Well now we get even more Blizzard news and for once it doesn’t seem all that bad! Could this save Blizzard from complete implosion?
Apparently, Blizzard is currently working on a new adventure game and they’re looking for new hires to help the process. If anyone is willing to work there after the multiple allegations against employees? Who knows, but Blizzard is looking to move past their wrongdoings in a big way – by making a whole new adventure game.
What Info Do We Have on the New Blizzard Adventure Game?
Well, if we’re being honest, not a whole lot. We have a job posting on the official Blizzard website stating that they’re looking for new hires to help work on a journey to a whole new universe. So, does this mean that Overwatch 2 really isn’t happening?
The game is in the early stages of development, it doesn’t even have a name announced yet, on the Blizzard page it literally says ‘Unanounced Survival Game’.

What Can We Predict About the Blizzard Survival Game?
Throughout the last few years Blizzard has taken us into space, into the World of Warcraft – get it? – and into a neo-future. So where could this adventure game take place? Is it another game like Warcraft or Diablo or are we getting a cyberpunk setting?
Well, with Blizzard looking for workers who will help shape and mold this game with art, design and engineering it would seem that Blizzard is also still trying to figure out what they can do with this game.
What Platforms Will the Blizzard Survival Game Be Released on?
The game will be released on PC and on console. Finally, we have some hard facts to report guys. This is the one thing we learned from the job posting and that is that this game is supposed to be a brand-new survival game for PC and console.
So, if you’re ready for a whole new adventure and you’re willing to give Blizzard another chance, then this could be quite an interesting game. The fact that it is brand new means it will give fans new characters and worlds to fall in love with. Don’t f*ck this up Blizzard. Please.
