Blizzard fans, it's that time of year again where you pray that your favorite Blizzard game is finally good again! What is in store for WoW, Overwatch and the Diablo franchises? Let’s see what we can learn from this year’s BlizzCon schedule!
Blizzard has done us a solid this year and went ahead and made BlizzCon 2021 online and for free! This is great because it was normally locked behind a paywall for both the in-person event and the stream.
Instead of canceling BlizzCon because of the global pandemic, Blizzard moved the entire thing online. The schedule for both days is as follows:
BlizzCon 2021 Schedule
February 19
Opening Ceremony: 2 PM PT
World of Warcraft - What's Next: 3:10 PM PT
Diablo - What's Next: 3:10 PM PT
Behind the Scenes of Overwatch 2: 3:10 PM PT
Diablo Deep Dive: 5 PM PT
February 20
World of Warcraft Q&A: noon PT
Heartstone Q&A: noon PT
Diablo Q&A: noon PT
World of Warcraft - The Evolution of Thrall: 2:05 PM PT
World of Warcraft - Cooking Workshop: 3:15 PM PT
*All times are in Pacific Standard Time because Blizzard HQ is located in Anaheim California.
Blizzcon 2021 seems to only focus on three games this year with a single timeslot given to Hearthstone. The Opening Ceremony usually has an epic new trailer and our money is on an Overwatch 2 trailer and some kind of beta announcement for Diablo 4.
You can watch BlizzCon 2021 live on the BlizzCon website for free this year or catch the vods later. Tune in and let’s see what the once glorious, but now fading Blizzard has to rejuvenate its fan base.
