Bloodborne got a... PS1 remaster. Yes, no joke: Bloodborne PSX is real, and it's coming to PC.
Yo, so when I said a 'wild' version of Bloodborne is coming to PC, trust me: I meant that sh*t. Bloodborne PSX is wild, and I do mean wild. Bloodborne PSX is a remake of the actual Bloodborne, except that it's more of a demake, because the game legit has PlayStation 1 graphics. Don't believe me? Watch:
I mean... I don't know about you, but my retro-love has boundaries. I'm all for some of the side-scrolling beauty that is being released these days, and I love me some Dead Cells, Death's Door, and Minecraft, but... I don't know if I could get into Bloodborne PSX.
Bloodborne PSX: Free to Play for PC
I guess, if you're on PC, and really itching to play Bloodborne, then this might be interesting for you, though there is another way you can play the actual Bloodborne on PC right now. Also, if you really want to experience some retro-loving, then this is also for you, because you really have nothing to lose: Bloodborne PSX is releasing free to play on January 31, 2022. Yes... free-to-play, meaning that even I will give it a shot. After all, you gotta love indie devs taking their time to simply express their love for gaming, possibly never making a single dime on the project.

In a way, I can understand where they're coming from: The FromSoftware Souls-Like games have always felt very retro in their punishing and unforgiving take on gaming, so they lend themselves well to the retro-aesthetic. After all, many of today's indie games, like Hollow Knight, Salt & Sanctuary or Death's Door, wear serious Dark Souls influence on their sleeves. Maybe Bloodborne PSX will open the door for a new trend in gaming: Demakes.
