Bully is highly anticipated, and we've been patient enough. Now, we get our first glimpse at Bully running on Unreal Engine 5.
Oh, it's a thing of beauty. Unreal Engine 5 just got us another Rockstar classic all done up and pretty, and now we are treated to Bully running on Unreal Engine 5, and it's just as beautiful as you'd expect. 16 years after its initial release, and the game is ready to be re-visited, but... don't just take my word for it - see for yourself:
I know, I know. 'Holy' is the first word that comes to mind, followed by another that I can't write due to... our website being more on the PG-side of things. Of course, with Rockstar being busy working on GTA 6, this beauty is not of their making.
Bully Remake on Unreal Engine 5
The one responsible for bringing Jimmy and Bullworth into the 21st century (well... technically the game was always from the 21st century, but you see my point) is YouTuber TeaserPlay Here's what he had to say about his brilliant work:
In this video, we are going to imagine a Bully remake - a great nostalgic game that we need now in next-gen graphics. We tried to use all the power and features of Unreal Engine 5 to recreate this, such as Lumen, Nanite, Ray Tracing and Metahuman to create Jimmy Hopkins and Dr Crabblesnitch’s Face.
This one will likely remain a showcase forever, but hey...: We got our first glimpse at Bully running on Unreal Engine 5, and now it's just a matter of time, until the actual Bully remake or Bully 2 is finally released.
