The best deal in gaming just got even better. Game Pass is already a marvel, especially when you use the official loophole to essentially get it for just 1 Dollar. Now, the greatness of Game Pass got even better: The service is now officially shareable, that means your friends and family can all use the same account to play games simultaneously. Sharing With Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family

Finally, Game Pass will be shareable, as was confirmed officially by Xbox Wire. Doing so will be as simple as subscribing to the family service on any other streaming platform: It simply costs a little bit more, but you get 4 slots to allocate to friends and family in the country you live in.

Here is the leaked image, that confirms the branding of the upcoming subscription service:

Of course, your existing Game Pass subscription will not go to waste: 1 month of Game Pass Ultimate is supposed to convert into 18 days of Game Pass Family & Friends. Even so, the Game Pass family plan is not available yet – the feature is currently being tested on Xbox Insiders in Ireland and Colombia, for some random reasons, and will probably roll out elsewhere over the course of the year.

Prices Revealed For Xbox Game Pass Family & Friends

Xbox Game Pass is in it's testing phase in Ireland, and so we can already get a sense of how much this puppy is going to cost: 22 Euros a month for Friends & Family Ultimate (basically $22). Now, remember, this model allows for five users per subscription, so if you share it with four other friends you only need to pay about $4.50 each a month. You'll be saving over 50% compared to a standard account for one, so it's a competitive price. But will it be enough?

We think Xbox Game Pass Family & Friends is a pretty darn smart move by Microsoft to bring even more gamers into the Game Pass family. Are you as hyped as we are to share your Game Pass with your friends? Or is this maybe the last push you needed to finally get Game Pass yourself?
