The Cyberpunk release date is right around the corner and after several Cyberpunk reviews have already been published, we are more ready than ever to finally play the game.
Before you jump into the world of Cyberpunk 2077 in a mad rush, let's quickly go over some things that you should know before the Cyberpunk 2077 release.
Here are five things you need to know before the release of Cyberpunk 2077.
The Update Patch
If you cleared your storage for the installment of the 70+ GB of Cyberpunk 2077, then we, unfortunately, have to inform you, that you’ll have to make some more room. Within the first day upon release, there will be a patch with proud 43GB. That means you need a total of 100+ GB of free storage to install the game and the patch.
This game is undoubtedly a beast, like… wow.
The Pre-Load
Pre-loading is great and all, but it also makes you want to start up the game right away, doesn’t it?
What if it’ll work? What if I can play earlier because there was a mistake? What if I'm the chosen one?
Well, that unfortunately won’t work. This is what you’ll see when you try to start the game before December 10th, so you might as well just wait, friend.
In-Game Sex
No, this is not a joke. This will most likely happen for real.
Cyberpunk 2077 includes a slider for your character's penis size. And not just that, but you can also choose the style of your pubic hair. Why would that be in there, if there weren't some good old sexy scenes in-game?
Just a tip, maybe try not to play Cyberpunk 2077 without headphones. You know... just in case.
Epilepsy Warning
Now, this is brand-new information that is already getting a lot of heat.
GameInformer came out with a PSA on some of the elliptical triggers seen in Cyberpunk 2077 and what people can do that suffer from epilepsy to protect themselves.
People claim that CD Projekt Red shouldn’t have included this in the first place, since this is a health hazard for gamers with epilepsy.
The company has yet to come out with a statement about whether or not flashes in that intensity can be turned off... so for now, just be careful if you're triggered by this.

The Release Date
The official release date for Cyberpunk 2077 is December 10. That has not yet changed. But what people often seem to forget is that there are different time zones all around the world.
If you’re in America, the Cyberpunk 2077 Release Date will be on December 9, at 4 PT, 5 MT and 6 ET. But obviously, that would mean that the game is coming out later in European countries, for example.
If you’re unsure about when the game will release for you, we advise you to check your time zone and convert it.
Now, that’s it for our 5 things you need to know before the Cyberpunk 2077 Release. We will now patiently - or not - wait for the release of this game. Until then, why don't you stick around on EarlyGame a little longer? We'll cover everything Cyberpunk that you need to know, like Cyberpunk 2077 Opts for Nudity Toggle.
