Remember Diablo 2: Resurrected? The remake of the classic PC masterpiece was already playable last year and is supposed to see its full release this year. Next week the game's beta will be available and it will include some of the new cinematics, that Blizzard is famous for. But if you want to see these beautiful cutscenes and don't want to/can't play the game, then don't worry: Activision Blizzard published the Act 1 and Act 2 cinematics. And they look god damn incredible.

These new cutscenes are so much better than the crusty originals. 3D graphics from the 2000s look so bad now, so no matter how good they might have been back then, they're mostly laughably outdated by now. So seeing these classic cinematics in gorgeous graphics is just amazing. Check out the amazing Act 1 cinematic right here:

The Diablo 2: Resurrected early access beta begins on August 13 for people who preordered the game. If you want to check the game out, without a pre-order, you're in luck: there is an Open Beta slated for August 20, shortly before the release on September 23.

We are pretty excited for Diablo 2: Resurrected. Yes, it's "just" an old game released again. But the new graphics look so good, especially these tasty, classic Diablo 2 cinematics. And Diablo 2 is an absolute classic, and if they nail this and Diablo 4, it could be a huge hit. Especially if the Microsoft takeover happens quickly enough for them to bring these games to Game Pass as quickly as possible. Wow, Diablo on Game Pass... can't wait for that.
