Leaving dungeons in Diablo 4 is surprisingly tricky. Enough so, that tons of players complain about not being able to do it. But there are some hidden tricks that make it super easy. We'll show you how to leave dungeons in Diablo 4.
After making your way through one of the long dungeons in Diablo 4, you slay a boss and then... you're stuck there, right? That's the experience many players have made in Diablo 4, as the game doesn't make it clear how you actually get out of those damn things. The first dungeon in the game has a rope at the end that gets you out, but we never saw that again during our time playing the game.
Diablo 4: How To Leave Dungeons
So, many players opt to teleporting back to the city or, and this one is particularly bad, running through the whole thing again. But there are a few ways to actually leave a dungeon. They're oddly obscure though.
To leave a dungeon, open the map and click on the gate symbol at the entry point of the dungeon. This will bring you outside the dungeon. You can also pop up your action wheel and leave the dungeon with a command here. That's it. Pretty easy and neat, but the game never tells you this.
Another useful thing that the game doesn't tell you, is that you have an extra input command, Input 7, which you can re-map to any button. You can use this input to immediately leave a dungeon. So even easier and quicker.
