Bandai Namco just announced that they’re working on a new Dragon Ball game that’s like Dead by Daylight. Here’s what it’s all about.
Let’s be real here, all of us have played at least one Dragon Ball game in their lives, right? Now that we’re older, we’re getting another one: Dragon Ball: The Breakers.
Dragon Ball: The Breakers is developed by none other than Bandai Namco and will be very different to all the previous Dragon Ball games, namely, it’ll not be an action-adventure, but an asymmetrical multiplayer game that sounds a LOT like Dead by Daylight.
Enter the temporal seam. Will you match as one of the 7 survivors or with you take the role of the rival Raider? Introducing #DRAGONBALL: The Breakers, coming in 2022. Closed Beta Test coming soon to PC.Pre-order: https://t.co/JN7MiV80QN pic.twitter.com/3fBjU01eQP

You can read it above, but like in Dead by Daylight, you have survivors and a raider. You need to break out of the temporal seam as a survivor, while the raider needs to dispose of the survivors.
When I said inspired by Dead by Daylight, I meant it, guys…
When Is The Dragon Ball: The Breakers Release Date?
We don’t have an exact release date yet, but the trailer that got released (see below) states that Dragon Ball: The Breakers will be released in 2022. Given the fact that that’s in two months, we might get that game sooner than we think. Imagine a surprise release drop. I’d be down.
The Closed Beta Test is coming soon, though… which you can also see in the trailer below. Just… watch it. God.
What Platforms Will Dragon Ball: The Breakers Will Release On?
Dragon Ball: The Breakers will release on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC. The graphic doesn’t look too bad, but to be honest, we still kinda expected this to be a mobile game. Like, it’s still a Dragon Ball game and the quality has always been debatable. This one is definitely a step-up, though.
