EAs exclusive showcase will be held later this summer - EA Play Live. We can expect exciting news from all of their major franchises. But they've also now promised the reveal of something huge for an older title, set to be announced at a run-up event on July 20. Many think it could be Fight Night, you can find all the details below.
For some years now, more and more of the biggest names in gaming have moved away from the E3 model. While one conference is great for gamers; all the excitement exploding on a single weekend, for the publishers themselves it's less appealing. By hosting their own events, they have complete control over the show and aren't competing as directly for our attention. EA's event, EA Play Live, should be particularly exciting this year. But before the main attraction on July 22, something big has just been promised for July 20 - the reveal of a new addition to an older franchise.
Will There Be a New Fight Night?
In a recent blog post, EA claimed that in the run-up to EA PLay Live, they will be revealing something for an older franchise on July 20. They were tight-lipped but said:
Spotlight will highlight an extremely cool new addition to an extremely popular and long-running EA SPORTS franchise. We may have said too much already. Just keep your calendar free, OK
Naturally, fans began playing Sherlock and are piecing together the clues to work out what older franchise might be getting this new content. At the front of the pack, Fight Night seems to be most people's favorite. Though for lovers of the franchise, don't hold your breath, they've got a ton of older games to choose from...

How to Watch EA Play Live?
EA Play live, and its events are streamed to all of EA's official social media channels, so it's your choice between YouTube and Twitch. There will likely be a number of streamers watching and commentating live, so if this your preferred format you should have no issue finding them.

Battlefield 2042 and Fifa 22 will 'headline' the main event on July 22, but you can expect all of their major franchises to be there. Of particular interest are the recent rumors surrounding Dead Space, so keep your eyes peeled.
