EA Sports PGA Tour is launching soon, and players can score some in-game rewards depending on what edition they purchase.
In the modern era of video games, there are usually some nice perks players can score simply by pre-ordering a game. These perks are traditionally in the form of in-game content, and this content cannot be earned unless players pre-order an edition of that specific title. EA Sports PGA Tour, the upcoming reboot of the popular golf video game franchise, is following a similar approach for its release.
After several delays, EA Sports PGA Tour is launching in early April. Before that date arrives, players can pre-order one of two editions of the game, the Standard Edition and the Deluxe Edition. Of course, before players decide which edition to buy, they should know what pre-order bonuses come with each. You can see the various pre-order bonuses for both the Standard and Deluxe Editions of EA Sports PGA Tour below.

EA Sports PGA Tour Pre-Order Bonuses
There are a few bonuses that you will receive no matter what edition of EA Sports PGA Tour you buy. However, the Deluxe Edition does offer a bit more in the way of in-game content for pre-order players. You can see the comparison between the two editions below.
EA Sports PGA Tour Standard Edition Pre-Orders
- THE PLAYERS Championship Gear
- The Grand Slam Gear Bundle (Gear items celebrating The Majors)
- Scotty Cameron Putter
EA Sports PGA Tour Deluxe Edition Pre-Orders
- THE PLAYERS Championship Gear
- The Grand Slam Gear Bundle (Gear items celebrating The Majors)
- Scotty Cameron Putter
- Exclusive Early Access to Augusta National
- 3-Day Early Access
If you buy the Deluxe Edition, there are also a few other bonuses that don't require a pre-order, such as The Masters Gear and 1,500 Premium PGA Tour Points. However, for true golf fans, the three day early access to EA Sports PGA Tour might make the Deluxe Edition worth it on its own. The Standard Edition costs $70 while the Deluxe Edition costs $85, so players will have to decide if the extra content is worth an added $15 or not.
