Elden Ring DLC seems all but confirmed, especially after a known insider revealed some details about a seemingly massive DLC add-on.
After Elden Ring conquered 2022 by storm, earning Game of the Year accolades left, right and center, fans have been eagerly waiting to get back into The Lands Between. And it looks like whenever DLC for the game will drop, it will have been worth the wait.
Elden Ring DLC Is Set To Be Massive, Claims Insider
Known insider and leaker Lance McDonald, one of the most trusted sources on all things FromSoftware, has claimed to "know a lot" about the upcoming Elden Ring DLC. According to McDonald, FromSoft is working on something "really big", which apparently includes at least one new area.
He shared some messages on his Discord server, saying that "there is a huge DLC coming". The developers seem to be adding a lot of new content to the game, but McDonald didn't provide many concrete details and couldn't confirm, whether there are any new gameplay mechanics or not.
Talk of possible DLC has flared up recently, especially after data miners found possible hints towards an expansion and a tease by official partners of developer FromSoftware. We definitely expect a big DLC expansion to arrive this year and hope it will be announced sooner rather than later.
