Elon Musk played Cyberpunk 2077 and it crept him the F-out. Why? The body modifications you can do in the game are eerily similar to Elon’s Neuralink technology currently under development.

Is Nerualink a slippery slope to the world portrayed in Cyberpunk 2077?

The man, the meme, the legend, Elon Musk, once again appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast where they discussed a wide range of topics from aliens to colonizing mars. Throughout the course of the 205-minute podcast, the topic of Elon Musk's Nerualink came up. For the uninformed, it is literally a brain implant that will interface with your smartphone. Think, and your phone will open up Tinder…or Wikipedia for those more learned scholars among us.

Elon Musk felt disturbed after playing Cyberpunk 2077 because you also get implants in the game that mostly help you kill people. The tech billionaire/inventor then gave us his thoughts on the foreseeable future after playing Cyberpunk 2077:

"I was playing Cyberpunk, the game, and I was like uhhh this is pretty close to home here. Like, oh man, like, is this where it leads? It might lead there eventually. I'm just saying for now, it's going to help people who really need it."

Elon are you telling me one day I can actually have lightsabre arms?

Elon sounds genuinely worried that implant technology could be used for evil or lead to the same kind of dystopia portrayed in Cyberpunk 2077. Arguably, we are still pretty far from that level of technology seen in Cyberpunk 2077. So for now, this just remains a meme or maybe a dream depending on how much you truly love your smartphone.

But do you love it enough to literally augment your body for a faster text message? Or are there those among us perhaps a little hesitant to merge with silicon? Will you go full Cyberpunk? Let us know on Facebook!

Okay, it’s getting a little deep so will end it with a meme:
