This is a more complete breakdown on how to make a Workbench.
1. Craft String
To begin with you need string, we have a complete guide on collecting string in Enshrouded here, but keep reading if you want the condensed version.
Collect nine Plant Fibers from either bushes or dead vegetables:
Now go into the crafting menu (press V) and craft String.
You need three Plant Fibers to make a piece of string, and you need three pieces of string for a workbench, so you will need all nine pieces of Plant Fiber.
2. Collect Wood Logs
Alongside String, you will also need eight Wood Logs. To get Wood Logs in Enshrouded, just hit trees with a bladed weapon or tool, and grab the Wood Logs that fall on the ground:
It's easy to gather wood in Enshrouded, and you'll need wood to make a Workbench.
3. Craft A Workbench
Now go into your crafting menu (press V) and select the Workbench.
You will be able to place it anywhere in a building zone, which is the 40x40 area surrounding your Flame Altars.
