Where To Find Flintstone: Overview

Follow these instructions to get Flintstone:

  1. Make a pickaxe, or get a higher-quality pickaxe from the Blacksmith.
  2. Go to the Small Flint Mine, which is luckily close to the starting position.
  3. Mine Flintstone deposits.

And voilà, you now have Flintstone!

Where To Find Flintstone: Walkthrough

Flintstone deposits are very distinctive, they look like outcrops of rocks that are blue and metallic with patches of bronze. However, although you can randomly come across Flintstone, it's infinitely more efficient to just go to the Small Flint Mine to get this resource. Follow these simple steps.

1. Make A Pickaxe

To mine Flintstone, you need a pickaxe. First collect these items:

  • 1 x Stone: Collected by hitting rocks with bladed weapons.
  • 4 x Twigs: Collected by hitting small trees with bladed weapons.
  • 1 x String: Harvest three plant fibers from bushes and then open your crafting menu (press V) and select string.

Now open your crafting menu (press V) and select the standard pickaxe to create it.

Looking for a high-quality pickaxe? If you go to the Blacksmith with eight Metal Scraps and one piece of Shroud Wood, he can make a slightly better Pickaxe:

You will craft hundreds of pickaxes in your time with Enshrouded.

2. Go To The Small Flint Mine

Go to this location, the Small Flint Mine, to find Flintstone deposits (it's very close to the starting position in the south):

There are some enemies near the Small Flint Mine, but nothing too dangerous, just some low-level mobs.

3. Mine Flintstone

Equip your pickaxe, position the blue targeting circle on to the Flintstone deposits, and hack away to collect Flintstone. You can see what the deposits look like here:

As well as the resource your gathering, like Stone and Flintstone, you also get a little bit of XP for mining in Enshrouded. | © Keen Games

You don't get very many pieces of Flintstone from each deposit, but you won't use as much of this resource as something like Stone.

What Can You Use Flintstone For In Enshrouded?

Here are all the things you will need Flintstone for in Enshrouded:

  • Rough Flintstone Block, for building (Workbench)
  • Stone Shingle Roof Block, for building (Workbench)
  • Grinding Stone (Alchemist)

The Grinding Stone is particularly important because it helps you progress the Alchemist. And once you have progressed the Alchemist enough, they can create Shroud Cores.

Now you have the expertise you need to make a pickaxe, find Flintstone, mine Flintstone, and use it. Good luck spreading those Flame Altars!
