Where To Get Metal Scraps: Overview
Use either of these methods to get Metal Scraps:
- Collect Metal Scraps from looting above-Shroud enemies.
- Destroy metallic items you find in the open world.
And there you have it, you now have Metal Scraps.
Where To Get Metal Scraps: Walkthrough
Like all items in the game, you can find Metal Scraps randomly in the world of Enshrouded. But relying on good luck won't cut it with a resource this valuable. You need to know how to find Metal Scraps in Enshrouded.
Luckily, there are two easy methods to find Metal Scraps in Enshrouded.
1. Collecting Metal Scraps From Enemies
Certain enemies that you can find above the Shroud will drop Metal Scraps when they die. We have found that the best enemies for Metal Scraps are the crossbowmen. They are very common, very easy to kill, and they always have Metal Scraps.
You can find one of these crossbowmen in the first hours of the game. He spawns at the other side of the broken Braelyn Bridge (the red-dot on the map below).
Here is what the enemy who drops Metal Scraps looks like in game:
Enemies within the Shroud will give you Shroud Spores (which are useful for making Shroud Cores), but no Metal Scraps.
2. Collecting Metal Scraps From Items In The World
You don't have to attack enemies to get Metal Scraps in Enshrouded, you can also destroy metallic items you find in the open world, like the cage you can see pictured below.
Unfortunately, hundreds of items in the open world are made with some metal but more wood, and for these items you just get standard Wood Logs. Finding metal items is surprisingly difficult, but these cages can be found on the Braelyn Bridge (pictured above in the screenshot of the map).
