After 8 weeks that were filled with several exciting tournaments, the Gamers8 festival is coming to an end. Now, by taking a look into next year, here are some esports games we'd like to see in 2024.
The Gamers8 festival, known for its esports tournaments and gaming festivities, is drawing to a close. Featuring a variety of esports competitions, including Rocket League and Street Fighter 6, the festival has gotten significant attention and viewership. Gamers8 has been a hub for exciting events, futuristic experiences, and virtual world interactions. After 8 weeks of thrill and fun, the festival will conclude in the Next World Forum an August 30 – 31.

Valorant
Valorant would make an excellent esports category at Gamers8 due to its growing popularity and competitive nature. The CS:GO tournament at Gamers8 was a huge success, so why not approach the same target group for tactical shooters. As an FPS game with unique agent abilities, Valorant has garnered a massive player base and has been recognized as the "Best Esports Game" at The Game Awards. So, why not let Riot's young star shine over Riyadh next year.
Speaking of Riot stars, what about League of Legends? LoL has one of the most engaged and active communities, and fans love seeing their favorite pro players compete. As one of the most played and watched esports titles globally, League of Legends could draw a substantial viewership to the festival.

Overwatch 2 continues to evolve from its predecessor, its inclusiveness could provide a fresh experience for participants and contribute to the festival's success, aligning well with Gamers8's goal of offering cutting-edge esports experiences.
