When will we finally get this latest open-world extravaganza from Ubisoft Toronto? Well, here is the Far Cry 6 release date...

The latest entry from Far Cry developers Ubisoft Toronto looks to be a breath of fresh air for a franchise that has suffered in recent years from repetition and small-innovations that never seemed to land. When Far Cry 6's release date comes around, we will be in for a high-octane adventure, set to up the ante for Ubisoft's often-maligned open-world format.

When is the Far Cry 6 Release Date?

Far Cry 6 is set to release on October 7, 2021, on Google Stadia, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. When Far Cry 6 finally launches it will boast a huge map, full of exciting new opportunities, a diversity of combat options, a fascinating-sounding narrative, and so much more.

When Far Cry 6's release date was delayed in October 2020 (pushing the title back from its original February 18 release date), the Covid-19 pandemic was cited as the leading cause. With the pandemic on the downturn, it looks like Far Cry 6 will be a fantastic way to end 2021. We'll have to wait and see, but we can assure that it won't just be the Far Cry 6 release date that we'll be covering here on EarlyGame... stay tuned for more, including a detailed look at the recent Far Cry 6 gameplay reveal!
