Fresh horror game fare awaits us in January with The Medium, which will be released exclusively on Xbox Series X|S. The developers from Bloober Team have already impressively proven that they are masters of the genre with Layers of Fear and Blair Witch.
In The Medium, you slip into the skin of the protagonist Marianne, who can communicate with the real and the spirit world as a medium. The game's special feature is that you travel in both worlds at the same time on a split screen to uncover the tragedy of a murdered child in an abandoned hotel. This should be an exciting start to the gaming year 2021 in terms of both gameplay and technology because according to game designer Wojciech Piejko, the title could only be realized with the help of next-gen console power.
