The Ghost of Tsushima devs, Sucker Punch, are working on a new multiplayer game. Need we say more than that? If Ghost of Tsushima is any indication, this game can only be amazing.

Sucker Punch was responsible for Sly Cooper and Infamous – good games, even great games. Then they dropped their masterpiece: Ghost of Tsushima. Next, as if the game hadn't been enough already, they made it even better with Ghost of Tsushima Legends– the free multiplayer DLC. Ghost of Tsushima Legends was loved by everybody with some taste, and it seems Sucker Punch liked the response:

The Ghost of Tsushima devs are now developing a "spectacular multiplayer game".

What Multiplayer Game is Sucker Punch Working On?

We don't have much besides a job posting with the following description:

Sucker Punch, the studio that created Ghost of Tsushima and the multiplayer Legends Mode, is looking for a Multiplayer/Network Programmer [...] Our talented multiplayer designers create awesome game team experiences, and you’ll be pivotal in bringing that creativity to life in a spectacular multiplayer game. We are looking for the whole package: someone with the necessary skills to investigate, define, implement and deploy networking features that support a smooth and engaging cooperative game play experience.

From the sounds of it, we can assume that the game will be multiplayer from the ground up. We can also do some more guess-work thanks to an old tweet in which Sucker Punch looked for a writer that would pen feudal-japan stories for them:

Does that mean this multiplayer game will be set in feudal Japan? Will the game be related to Ghost of Tsushima? Will it be a sequel to Ghost of Tsushima? Will it be a sequel to Infamous or Sly Cooper? We can't be sure yet, but we sure can be hyped!
