Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut was accidentally sold early at a Walmart and picked up by quick-minded buyers, who were just as quick to leak details on Iki Island and some Ghost of Tsushima PS5-specific details.

A guy in the official Ghost of Tsushima Facebook group claimed he was already able to play Ghost of Tsushima because he just saw it casually being sold at Walmart and copped it before they realized their screw-up. Lucky him. Being a man of honor, the good sir shared his experiences and here's what he had to say:

Iki Island ins on the disc already. If you liked the opening to the main game with title card while riding your horse through the flower field, then you will LOVE the introduction to Iki Island.

Hype! I don't know about you, but I adored Ghost of Tsushima, and I certifiably orgasmed over the flower field intro sequence, so this is music to my ears. The leaker – or lucky early-buyer – also points out that the game is noticeably better on PS5 and compares it to Miles Morales' PS5 differences: According to him, the draw difference is incredible, and the haptic feedback feels amazing.

More Ghost, more Tsushima:

The man whom we all envy also confirmed that there are two new survival maps and that duels are now re-playable within the game. Of course, all of this is useless without pictures, and our friendly leaker is well aware of that. He provided the internet with pictures that I recommend you skip, if you want to avoid spoilers. In the video below, all the leaks and screenshots are summarized for all those daring enough:

Alright, that's all I have to say on the Iki Island leak. Now, I have to rant about something: There are people complaining about the PS5 Director's Cut version being sold separately rather than being a free upgrade for all those who bought the PS4 version. Listen here, folks... the good people at Sucker Punch gave us a whole multiplayer for free. Everybody that bought Ghost of Tsushima can enjoy Ghost of Tsushima: Legends for no extra cost – a multiplayer that will easily entertain you for 20 hours and also a multiplayer that is confirmed to get new updates. When Sucker Punch released said add-on – for free – people just took it for granted, but when they work hard on an upgraded version for the PS5 and add new content to the single-player campaign, people cry about having to pay for this new version of the game.

Developers gotta eat too, and I would rather reward a company like Sucker Punch who deliver quality games every time they go to work, than pay another 50 bucks on cosmetics in the online game I'm addicted to. (Editor: this feels like a personal attack...)

Just my two cents.

Rant over.
