The Xbox Game Pass Games for August 2021 have been announced and our eyes all fall towards that one game that nobody had expected to be on there: Hades.
You know, my co-worker has been trying to get me to get the Game Pass for so long now, and I always say: nah, I’m good, thanks. I’m not into Cloud gaming, and I have a PlayStation anyway and bla bla bla. Well, guess what, my friend: I’m getting it, because Hades will be on there this month.
Microsoft has really been pushing their Xbox Game Pass, with some super cool games having been released for it in the past. Now, they want to take it to the next level and don't just release one batch of games (that includes like 8-10 games per month), but two, one being released at the beginning of the month, and one at the end. Microsoft will release the first batch of games for this month starting August 5.
Which Games Release With Xbox Game Pass In August?
- Dead Cells DLC
- Dodgeball Academia
- Katamari Damacy Reroll
- Lumines Remastered
- Skate
- Skate 3
- Starmancer
- Art of Rally
- Hades
- Microsoft Solitaire Collection: Premium Edition
Now, who knows, maybe you’re more into Solitaire, then this month is a steal for you as well, but we’re definitely most hyped about Hades. There's a reason it won Game of the Year at the Dice Awards and had so many nominations at the Game Awards in 2020.
Hades in particular will release for Xbox Game Pass on August 13, so mark your calendars, friends, and get ready to play.
How Much Is Xbox Game Pass?
Xbox Game Pass costs vary depending on which version of the Game Pass you buy, the best option with the most value will cost you $14.99 a month, whereas the cheapest version costs $9.99 a month, though with that, you will only either get to play on PC or console, not both like with the first option.
And think about it, it’s essentially just $5 more every month… with that much extra perks, it’s totally worth it.
