Let's take a look at the most recent Halo Infinite patch notes, what has changed, what has been buffed, and what was fixed. It's update time!
343 Industries regularly updates Halo Infinite with patches that address various issues that have appeared in Multiplayer and Singleplayer alike. They sometimes add new content but – let's be real, considering Season 2 is still not here (not to mention Forge and Co-Op) – that's pretty darn rare!
When these patches release, though, we're first on the scene, sweeping in and taking a nice little look at the damage wreaked. Most of the time, the crime scene is clear and we actually have some improvements to be happy about, but sometimes.. well... sometimes it's a mess.
That's okay, though, because what's important is that 343 Industries continues to support the game, for better or for worse. From map updates, to weapon buffs and nerfs, everything that we could possibly want changed is possible with only one question ever rearing its ugly head: what did they actually change this time?
What Has Changed in Halo Infinite's April 5 Update?
Halo Infinite's latest update features a variety of fixes across both the game's campaign and multiplayer modes. Some fixes to the campaigns save file system have been implemented whilst the multiplayer's primary change is a few fixes to the game's anti-cheat system.
Halo Infinite Update Today: All Buffs
The April 5 Update implemented a number of buffs, each helping players get better situational awareness. These are some pretty important changes, especially the increase in volume, which is admittedly a little bit of an over-adjustment. Here are this patch's buffs:
- The volume of sound effects as well as enemy footsteps and gunfire have been increased to create better awareness.
- Combat Sensor's range has been increased from 18 meters to 24 meters in BTB
Halo Infinite Update Today: All Nerfs
There were no nerfs for weapons or gameplay in the April 5 Update. That goes for both Halo Infinite's Multiplayer and Campaign. We will update this with future patches so you are aware when nerfs come into effect and can adjust accordingly.
A #HaloInfinite patch is now live with changes to Stockpile, CTF, and more. If you are currently playing, close and relaunch Halo Infinite to install the update (1.3 GB or less). More info in the April Patch section of our release notes: https://t.co/CRAA1djWrw pic.twitter.com/ND1ne8YppN
