In Honkai Star Rail, there are multiple ways to strengthen your team! One of the most important ones, is to equip your characters with the best possible Light Cones. Since there are a bunch of options regarding the optimal Light Cone choice, it is more than advised to check out the following guide, if you plan on getting yourself a copy of Blade!
Blade will be one of the most exciting new characters in Honkai Star Rail! His kit is super unique, and many players (including me) are patiently waiting for his release in version 1.2!
Alongside him, a new Limited Light Cone Banner will be released, which of course includes Blade's signature weapon! However, pulling for 5-Star Light Cones, isn't really recommended, at least not for free-to-play accounts. Fortunately, there are a bunch of good 4-Star options for him as well!

Honkai Star Rail: Blade's Best Light Cones
In order to choose the perfect Light Cone for your team comp, you should first get familiar with Blade's kit! To make it short: Blade is a Wind character, who follows the path of The Destruction. His main mechanics are focused on HP management, and how to maximize his damage output.

Instead of consuming Skill points, Blade sacrifices his own max HP, in order to cast his abilities. This is a pretty unique play style and requires a lot of skill to pull off correctly!
Let's first take a closer look at his signature Light Cone!
5-Star Light Cones
The obvious best choice if you want a 5-star weapon for Blade is, of course, his signature Light Cone: The Unreachable Side. Next to having a great effect, it also provides him with all necessary base stats.
The Unreachable Side – Effect :
- Increase HP by 16% and ATK by 16%. Damage when attacking is increased by 30%, and follow-up attacks by 30%. (S1)
As mentioned earlier, pulling for a signature Light Cones isn't really recommended, since you should invest your Stellar Jades into new characters instead.
If you happen to get “Something Irreplaceable”, which is Clara's signature weapon, but you don't have or use Clara, you can just this Light Cones for Blade instead, since it fits him quite well! You can also buy this weapon from the Starlight Exchange shop.
You have to choose for yourself, if you feel like investing in a Light Cone or if you prefer using your Undying Starlight for something else.
4-Star Light Cones
Luckily, Blade has some great 4-Star Light Cones options as well, so let's finally take a loot at them!
One of his best overall Light Cones is definitely “Nowhere to Run”! It not only has Blade on its picture, it also has a great effect for him. It is by far his best 4-Star option, and will hopefully be featured on his Light Cone Banner as well.
Nowhere to Run:
- Increase the wearer's ATK by 24%. Whenever the wearer defeats an enemy, they restore HP equal to 12% of their ATK. (S1)
Let's check out the other option!
The second-best option for Blade's 4-Star Light Cone would be “A secret Vow”. Its effect synergizes pretty well with his overall kit, since it boosts your DMG, if your enemy has equal or higher HP than Blade.
A secret Vow:
- Increases DMG dealt by the wearer by 20%. The wearer also deals an extra 20% of DMG to enemies whose current HP percentage is equal to or higher than the wearer's current HP percentage. (S1)
Hopefully, you can get one of these Light Cones, if you plan on pulling for Blade! For now, all we can do is to be patient, until Blade's banner finally drops!
