The very first version of Honkai Star Rail is slowly coming to an end, and unfortunately we have to say goodbye to the Jing Yuan banner quite soon. Luckily there is no time to be sad about the characters we didn’t get, since a whole new lineup of fantastic banners are already on the way! What will the next Limited Character Banner look like?
Even if the very first version of Honkai Star Rail isn't quite over yet, there is already a lot to explore for the upcoming patch. The Special Program Livestream on May 27, gave us a little sneak peek on what HoYoverse has in store for us in version 1.1.

Of course, new and engaging events are super cool, but in the end, we all know what a new version is all about: the new 5-Star characters and their corresponding banner lineups!
Who will be featured on the new banners along with Silver Wolf and Luocha?
Honkai Star Rail: Silver Wolf And Luocha Banner Lineups
The following banners will be released with the new version update. The start of version 1.1 is June 7, 2023. The first half of the update will run from June 7 to June 26, 2023. The second half will run from June 28, to July 18, 2023.

First Half: Silver Wolf
The long awaited superstar hacker of Honkai Star Rail will be the first one to be featured on a banner in 1.1. Silver Wolf will be immediately available on June 7. Alongside her, some of the community's favorites will be featured on Silver Wolf's banner for three weeks.
Let's take a closer look at the banner lineup of the next version's first half: Contract Zero
It goes without saying, that Silver Wolf is the star of the show in this banner.
She will be a 5-Star Quantum character, who follows the path of The Nihility. If you want to find out about her abilities and skills, you can check them out right here:
However, the 4-stars of the banner should not be underestimated either. We know all three of them extremely well by now, because they are all freely available by playing the story quest.
But don't be fooled! Just because they are free, doesn’t mean they are bad by any means! Many who have already played Genshin Impact are probably put off by free characters, as they are comparatively weak in other HoYoverse's games. Luckily that is not the case for Honkai Star Rail's free units.
The featured 4-Stars will be:
- Dan Heng
Dan Heng is arguably one of the most liked 4-Stars in Honkai Star Rail. We meet him right at the beginning of the game and his elegant but caring actions are quite loveable. He is especially interesting, since he seems to play an important and rather mysterious role throughout the story in upcoming patches.
- If you like Dan Heng as much as I do, this Hoodie of him is definitely worth a try!
Dan Heng is a 4-Star Wind character who follows the path of The Hunt.
- Asta
Asta is a really strong Fire Weakness Breaker, who is capable of providing excellent support for your whole team. She is quite cute, outgoing and a really supportive character in every way possible.
Asta is a 4-Star Fire character, who follows the path of The Harmony.
- Serval
Serval was given to us as a free unit from HoYoverse as a gift for the high number of preregistrations. You will find a copy of her in your mailbox after you reached level ten. As the sister of Gepard, she is highly involved in the first half of the story and has a unique character.
Serval is a 4-Star Lightning character, how follows the path of The Erudition.
Second Half: Luocha
The mysterious traveling merchant Luocha will be the main attraction in the second half of version 1.1. He will be available on June 28 and will stay for three weeks. Alongside him, the new 4-Star Yukong is featured on the Laic Pursuit banner as well.

Isn't that coffin way too heavy for him to carry it around like this? And what is Chibi Silver Wolf checking on her phone all the time …
Luocha will be a 5-Star Imaginary character, who follows the path of The Abundance. If you are interested in his abilities as will you can find them right next to Silver Wolf's right here:
The 4-Stars on this banner are rather niche but still very cool and fun units. Especially interesting should be Yukong to most of us, since we only know her from the main story. How will she perform in ours teams?
The featured 4-Stars will be:
- Pela
Pela is a pretty underestimated support at the moment, however especially in later content of the game, she can shine through her debuffing capabilities. She is quite clumsy and light-hearted.
Pela is a 4-Star Ice character, who follows the path of The Nihility.
- Qingque
Our little gambling addict Qingque will be found on Luocha's banner as well. She is a great Sub DPS unit, especially if you do not have Seele since they are the only two Quantum characters at the moment.
Qingque is a 4-Star Quantum character, who follows the path of The Erudition.
- Yukong
Last but not least, the Head of the Sky-Faring Commission Yukong will be finally available on the second half of the upcoming banner. She is extremely elegant and educated and does really not like it, when outsiders try to invade her space.
Yukong is a 4-Star Imaginary character, who follows the path of The Harmony.
Which character do you pull for and why is it Silver Wolf? I am especially excited for Luocha, since his personality seems so interesting and mysterious!
