Far Cry 3 is available for free now on the Ubisoft store, and you'll have to be quick, if you want to download your free Far Cry 3 copy.

Far Cry 3 is free on the Ubisoft Store right now until September 11, including its multiplayer and co-op components. You want the free game? Don't worry, getting it is easy.

How to Get Far Cry 3 for Free From Ubisoft Store

Just pop on over to the Ubisoft Store and select the standard edition of the game. That’s right: Standard edition for your standard a**, because the deluxe will still cost you $30.

Again, just head on over to the Ubisoft store and remember that you can only get your free Far Cry 3 copy until September. Also, this offer is only available for PC gamers and, again, you can only get Far Cry 3 for free until September 11.

While you're on your way to copping your free game, don't worry if you run into some errors: That's normal whenever a game has a free-to-play download. Just be patient and wait for the servers to calm down.

Does Free Far Cry 3 Have Multiplayer & Co-Op

Do you get multiplayer and coop with the free Far Cry 3 standard edition? Yes. The multiplayer has a bunch of maps for PvP for 18 players and an editor, so that should be fun. The coop meanwhile has its own story, set before the main story, and you can play it online as well as offline with up to four players: Six missions, four characters to choose from and Left 4 Dead-vibes all-around.

Now, what's interesting is that Ubisoft chose to release Far Cry 3 for free so close to Far Cry 6 (which is releasing on October 7): There are many fan theories connecting the two games, many of which believe that Diego Castillo from Far Cry 6 will grow up to Vaas. Is Ubisoft hinting at something? Possibly. Either way, Far Cry 3 is a great game, and you shouldn't miss out on getting to play it for free.
