How To Play Cinderace in Pokémon Unite
Cinderace Guide: Basics
Cinderace is a quick, mobile attacking Pokémon – naturally, since it is a soccer player. If you like fast, ranged combat, then Cinderace might definitely be for you.
- Offense: 4/5
- Endurance 1.5/5
- Mobility 3/5
- Scoring 2.5/5
- Support 0.5/5
Cinderace Guide: Evolution
Before you turn into Cinderace, you'll have to make do with Scorbunny and Raboot. Your evolution will happen at level 5 and 7, respectively.
Cinderace Guide: Unique Abilities
- Blaze – Increases your critical-hit rate and your attack speed when your HP is low. Also, whenever you use the move, your next basic attack is boosted.
- Basic Attack – Every third of Cinderace's basic attacks does increased damage.
Cinderace Guide: Moves
Level 1
- Ember | 6s cooldown – Cinderace throws a fireball that deals damage, as well as damage over time and also decreases the opponent's attack damage.
- Low Sweep | 7.5s cooldown – A kick that deals damage and sends all those who are hit in a direction of your choosing.
How to build: Range vs close-combat, that's what this boils down too. If you prefer to attack from range, go with Ember at level. If you want to get in your opponents' faces, then Low Sweep is your first choice.
Level 7
- Pyro Ball | 7s cooldown – A kicked fireball that deals damage and burns, which continues to deal damage over time. The upgrade reduces Cinderace's cooldown for Flame Charge or Feint whenever Pyro Ball hits.
- Blaze Kick | 8s cooldown – A flaming kick that causes critical damage and burn. The upgrade increases your attack speed.
How to build: Same as above – if you to build Cinderace for range, go for Pyro Ball, otherwise, run with Blaze Kick.
Level 8
- Flame Charge | 8s cooldown – Cinderace charges forward and deals damage to all the Pokémon in its path. The upgrade enables your next boosted attack to slow the movement speed of your opponents.
- Feint | 13s cooldown – Increased movement speed for a period, as well as invincibility and removal of all hindrances. The upgrade causes your next three basic attacks to heal you.
How to build: Simply put, you will want to pick Feint if you previously picked Blaze Kick and Flame Charge if you're rocking with Blaze Kick.
Level 9 – Cinderace Unite Move
- Blazing Bicycle Kick – Cinderace kicks a fireball that causes a huge explosion. Afterwards, you get increased movement speed.
Essentially, this is a nuke to drop on the enemy team when they are getting close to scoring or when they are all bunched up in a teamfight.
Cinderace Guide: Item Build
- Held Items | Go with Muscle Band, Float Stone and Scope Lens.
- Battle Item | Eject Button or X-Attack
Float Stone makes Cinderace even more mobile, while Muscle Band boosts your attacks the more HP the opponent has and Scope Lens boosts your critical damage.
Eject Button is your get out of jail card, which is always useful. X-Attack does some extra damage if you want to go all in on being a damage-dealer.
Cinderace Guide: Game Strategy
Cinderace is most comfortable at range and against a single opponent. In team fights, you'll want to blast in from the outside. Thus, use the high mobility to move around and into situations and positions that are favorable for Cinderace.
