How To Play Cramorant in Pokémon Unite
Cramorant Guide: Basics
You'd might think otherwise, but Cramorant is actually quite the decent Pokémon. Its stats are more than acceptable, and you can definitely dash out a lot of damage with it.
- Offense: 4/5
- Endurance 3/5
- Mobility 3/5
- Scoring 1.5/5
- Support 1/5
Cramorant Guide: Evolution
Cramorant does not have any evolutions, so you will immediately start out as Cramorant.
Cramorant Guide: Unique Abilities
- Gulp Missile – Gulps munitions of prey animals when using moves, which it uses to counter-attack opponents automatically. Remaining HP affects the quality of prey found.
- Basic Attack – Every third attack spits Arrokude or other Pokémon at nearby opposing Pokémon, dealing increased damage.
Cramorant Guide: Moves
Level 1
- Whirlpool | 5s cooldown – Cramorant creates a shrinking whirlpool that does increasing damage with decreasing range and then slows Pokémon just before the whirlpool disappears.
- Feather Dance | 8s cooldown – Dances, reducing the attack and Movement Speed of nearby opponents.
How to build: As Cramorant is way better at damaging enemies than at supporting allies, definitely go for Whirlpool here.
Level 4
- Hurricane | 9s cooldown – Blasts wind that knocks up opponents, dealing damage and knocking them back.
- Air Slash | 5s cooldown –Jumps back and shoots blades of air at all opposing Pokémon in the area of effect. Hits reduce this ability's cooldown.
How to build: Definitely Air Slash. The fact that your cooldown will be reduced upon hitting with Air Slash makes this a no-brainer.
Level 6
- Surf | 8s cooldown – Sends forth a damaging wave of water that sloshes back the way it came, pulling opponents.
- Dive | 1.5s cooldown – Forms a puddle and dives into it, displacing opponents, up to three times.
How to build: Despite Dive not being bad (especially because of the low cooldown), we always advise you do rather go Surf instead.
Level 9 – Cramorant Unite Move
- Galting Gulp Missile – Forms a large puddle and dives into it, continuously spitting prey at the nearest opponent.
You can do so much damage with Galting Gulp Missile, but make sure you're not alone when using it. Other ally Pokémon will have to help you out here, or you'll be a snack for enemies.
Cramorant Guide: Item Build
- Held Items | Go with Shell Bell, Buddy Barrier and Sp. Atk. Specs.
- Battle Item | Eject Button.
Shell Bell increases your healing abilities, while Buddy Barrier shields you and your allies when using a Unite Move. Sp. Atk. Specs will permanently increase your Sp. Atk. upon scoring a goal.
Eject Button is the usual choice to escape sticky situations... use it to escape.
Cramorant Guide: Game Strategy
You want to farm as much as possible and as quickly as possible with Cramorant. That way, you level up faster and unlock his true potential sooner. Cramorant also isn't tanky, so keep your distance unless you want to die quickly.
