Summoners War: Chronicles is the first game of the Summers War franchise that is also available on PC. But what about Xbox – will Com2uS bring SW Chronicles to Microsoft's console as well? We've got good news for you.
The Summoners War franchise has grown massively since its launch in 2014, and it's probably one of the most played mobile games in the world. With Summoner's War: Chronicles, the franchise also made the jump to PC, and many fans are already hyped to play the game on the big screen.
But talking about big screens – shouldn't the game be available on consoles like Xbox as well? We had the chance to talk to Com2uS as part of a press meeting, and we asked them about the topic.
Summoners War: Chronicles: Xbox Support Officially Planned
At the moment, Summoners War: Chronicles is only available on Android, iOS, and PC . But Com2uS made clear that they're planning to bring the game to the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S as well, aiming for a launch this year. Although there is no concrete release date yet, we would expect the Xbox version to launch in late 2023.
Summoners War is free to play, but since you need Xbox Live Gold to play online against others on an Xbox, you will probably have to pay this fee at least. It wouldn't surprise us if Chronicles just became part of the Xbox Game Pass, which seems like the most common option at the moment. As soon as we know more about this from Com2uS, we will keep you updated.
What The Summoners War Franchise Is About
Summoners War is set in a fantasy world where players take on the role of summoners who can call upon a variety of creatures to fight in battles. The game's main objective is to collect, evolve, and build powerful teams of monsters to fight against other players in real-time battles.
Summoners War: Chronicles definitely has similarities with Genshin Impact, but also aspects of Pokémon and World of Warcraft can be found in the game. The game is free to play and is getting monetized via in-game microtransactions.
