Just Cause Mobile Release Date Delayed Until 2022
It has been confirmed in a Tweet that Square Enix's Just Cause Mobile will not be hitting the small screen until 2022. The game was originally scheduled for release this year on iOS and Android, but the team has had to push the game's release date back. The team has confirmed that it will update fans on the game's progress via Twitter, yet in a bizarre twist, the development studio still doesn't have a name. Why? Who knows...

Why Was Just Cause Mobile Delayed Until 2022?
The development team has cited Covid-19 as one of the leading reasons as to why Just Cause Mobile had to be delayed until 2022. It is not unsurprising, with the pandemic having a huge impact on developers' abilities to work on their games over the last year and a half. With social distancing rules, safety precautions, and a halt on many aspects of the global economy, we expect that we will continue to see these sorts of delays for a time to come.
What is Just Cause Mobile?
Just Cause Mobile is a new mobile game announced by Square Enix in 2020, and will be a free-to-play multiplayer action shooter. It sounds... intriguing. We are not really sure how you can do a 30-player competitive multiplayer game on a mobile... along with a campaign... a few games have pulled it off, but we feel doubtful about this one. For starters: Just Cause has traditionally been a single player affair.
Apparently Just Cause Mobile will include things like wingsuits and the series' iconic grappling hook, so there may be some hope. Still... this all seems a tad concerning.
